The construction of the new council building for M. Raiymandhoo has been successfully completed. The project, funded under the Public Sector Investment Program (PSIP) of the Local Government Authority (LGA), was awarded to M. Raiymandhoo Council at a total cost of MVR 4.8 million.

Implemented by Three Tree Maldives Pvt Ltd, the project was completed on 22nd March 2025. The building has been designed with a focus on creating a comfortable and efficient working environment for council staff and visitors alike.

The facility features an 80-seat conference hall and a 16-seat meeting room. Dedicated cabins have been allocated for the council president, vice president, council members, and the council secretary general. Additionally, the building houses a hall for the Women’s Development Committee, a prayer room, a tea room, a store room, and separate toilet facilities for men and women.

This new building replaces the previous council office, which had become inadequate due to its age and limited space. With the new facility, many of the earlier challenges have been addressed, allowing the council to better serve the community and bring services closer to the people.
